Shelby is scheduled for a 12 hour nerve transplant surgery on Wednesday, so we are hoping everything will go well.

We have shipped out the first 200 alternate perks, we will be working on shipping out the rest, thank you for your patience.
Unfortunately there has not been much change with Shelby’s health, she is going to see if she can be approved for nerve transplant surgery in her arm, to try to get any kind of movement in it.

Thank you so much for the overwhelming support in all your e-mails regarding the alternative perk! We are very, very grateful for your kindness, patience and understanding as we continue to work our way through a most difficult time.
Your original piece of artwork by Robert Sabuda is being created right now and will hopefully start shipping out in the next few weeks.
If you have moved or changed your mailing address since you originally backed the campaign, please update us with your new address.

"Dear Mysterious Case backer,
Thank you very much for your continued patience as we work our way through the devastating loss that is the closing of the Armchair Detective Company due to the life threatening illness and subsequent physical disabling of our founder Shelby Arnold.
We have been working as diligently as we can to come up with a solution for all of you who backed this project since we are unable to complete and deliver the remaining Mysterious Cases. Thank you very, very much for understanding that Indiegogo will allow an alternate perk to be offered in lieu of the original item.
In order to provide you with the value of your support, Robert Sabuda will be creating a signed piece of artwork for the campaign. Robert has only created a total of three original signed, and numbered pieces of artwork in the last 20 years, the most recent nearly a decade ago. We assure you this original piece of artwork will be valued at a minimum of $500 and if you have supported us with more than that amount, we will send you two. Robert will begin this artwork soon and we’ll keep you updated on his progress as well as letting you know when the art will be shipped out.
We also wanted to say again how deeply, deeply sorry we are about all that has happened. Every day we are so saddened by these events. Thank you again for all your kind words, letters and support. It has been a very difficult time and we’re doing all we can to make things right by you.
